Naomi May is a British Musician, Composer, & Record Producer professionally known as Rougepop. 

Specialising in creating a fusion of Genres primarily encompassing Hip/Hop & R'n'B as a focal point- Rougepop's Catalogue spans wide and large with remnants of Indie Rock, EDM,Dubstep, Jazz, Blues,Gospel, Soul & Funk. 

A Matrix of Industrial & unique sounds, all stemming from a strong background as a Classical Pianist, Rougepop's eclectic Musical mind balances the scales of what it means to create in this new Age. 

'I create Music with a purpose. Music the listener can resonate with.Each piece is composed with 'real time' emotion often acting as a reflection of my current state.'-A poignant note by Rougepop, which in turn is an affirmation of her Love of production. Each new release always indulges the element of surprise, and encompassin, a Grand spectacle of moving musical notation. 

Born in Zambia, and raised in South Africa during her early childhood- Naomi began to embark on a journey as a self taught Pianist. With her drive and love for Music, she quickly developed the skill of playing solely by Ear/Memory. 

Moving to London at the age of 9, Naomi continued her quest to become a virtuous Musician, and developed her skills further by encompassing Song Writing and beat making during her teenage years. Bridging the gap between Sounds and intern finding her own sound. 

Rougepop uses her voice in a range of dynamic aspects depending on the mood and tone of the track. Her Music production skills are forceful, with a strong 17 year repertoire of Beats of a range of Genres. 

With a steady input of Incredible collaborations, Rougepop aims to bring the best out of each joint project- by utilising her strongest assets to bind the musical pieces together. 

Currently working on her Debut Breakthrough Album 'A HeartBreak Uncoded'- Rougepop is comfortably developing her sound further, with a view of a 2022 Winter Release to reflect the album in its sincerity.
